Solve Your Problems While You Sleep
Do you ever find yourself lying in bed at night going over the affairs of the day, trying to come up with a solution to some problem or other?
If you do, then you are not alone. Inability to ‘switch off’ at bedtime is an issue for a lot of people.
Have you ever tried putting your troubles and worries aside before bedtime?
By putting our troubles and worries aside while we sleep, we give our unconscious minds an opportunity to throw up a solution to them. A fellow called Poincare used this approach to solve complex mathematical problems. While attempting to solve a problem, he would put the question out of his head and forget about it altogether. Then suddenly ‘out of the blue’ the solution would come to him as he was going about his business. The problem would have been processed by his unconscious mind and once solved would have been passed into his conscious awareness. Putting your troubles aside while you sleep provides an opportunity for your unconscious mind to come up with a solution to your difficulties.
